Thanks to Madman Entertainment, I'm very excited to be offering a giveaway of 5 x double passes to screenings of The Trip to Italy to five lucky readers!
The Trip to Italy is a hilarious follow up to the original movie, The Trip, with Academy Award nominee Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon, in which the cantankerous duo ate their way around the Great Lakes region in the UK.
This time, director Michael Winterbottom has stepped things up a notch with a trip to Italy. The movie begins with Brydon being commissioned by a newspaper to take a driving tour of Italy, from Liguria to Capri, following in the footsteps of two great Romantic poets, and visiting some of Italy's greatest restaurants. He invites Coogan to come along. Think beautiful surroundings, beautiful food, and a satirical take on it all by Coogan and Brydon. A must for anyone who considers themselves a gourmand of all things Italian.
As a little teaser, here's the trailer and official film website.
The movie opens on May 29th and the passes are valid nationally for any cinema screening the movie. Once again, there are 5 x double passes on offer! All you have to do is comment below and the winner will be drawn randomly at 5pm, Monday 26th May. Good luck, and buon appetite!

And the results are in! Sorry they're a bit late - had a nightmarish day and didn't get home till later than expected. Thanks to everyone who entered, and congrats to the winners - numbers 17, 3, 19, 11 and 10! Please either leave your email below or get in touch with me at letmefeedyoumelbourne@hotmail.com so we can arrange postage of your lovely prize!
To anyone going to see the movie, I highly recommend a late evening sitting at the Nova Cinema on Lygon Street, preceded by dinner at either DOC Espresso (if you're in the mood for pasta), or DOC Pizzeria (if that's what tickles your fancy), washed down with some Italian wine. It's the perfect thing to get you in the mood, and the only way to starve off hunger pains as you're watching!
Blogger update 2/06/2014:
One set of tickets have not been collected by a person drawn in the first round, and I've made every endeavour possible to get in contact with them. Because the purpose of this giveaway is to allow some of my readers the chance to see this wonderful movie , and because the movie has a limited release period, I've decided to re-draw another number. The winning number is 18 - congratulations to number 18!

:)
